Joe Rotondi passed away December 13, 2021. As the proud president of E.B. Rotondi and Sons Inc, established by his father in 1932, Joe's engineering expertise and perfectionism earned him a great deal of respect in the industry. His work ethic was tireless and he loved what he did.

About Mike Sr.

President & CEO

For more than 45 years, Mike Rotondi Sr. has been at the heart of E.B. Rotondi & Sons Inc. He started his career with the company working in the field as a laborer, truck driver, and equipment operator, gaining firsthand experience in every part of the job.

​

Over the years, Mike Sr. has worn many hats and played a key role in transforming the business. Under his leadership, the company grew from a small paving and tennis court construction contractor into a mid-sized utility contractor known for quality work and reliability.

​

Throughout his career, Mike Sr. has managed numerous major contracts, including a large Verizon project he personally bid and won—overseeing daily operations for more than 60 employees during its peak. In recent years, he has guided the company’s focus toward residential water and sewer utility work, continuing to adapt to the needs of the community.

​

Mike also holds a Construction Supervisor’s License and brings decades of practical knowledge and leadership to every project. He lives in Wilmington, MA with his wife, and together they have three children, including two sons who now work alongside him every day as part of the family business.

Mike Rotondi, Jr. officially joined the family business full-time in 2013 after graduating from Southern New Hampshire University. While in college, he proudly served as Assistant Captain of the Men’s Varsity Hockey Team during his junior and senior years — an experience that built the leadership and teamwork skills he brings to work every day.

​

Mike’s first major project with E.B. Rotondi & Sons was managing the installation of over a mile of underground conduit for Eversource Electric — quite the introduction to the industry! Since then, he’s become an essential part of the company’s office operations, overseeing scheduling, sales, and daily management to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

​

When he’s not at work, Mike enjoys playing hockey and golf, spending time with family, and keeping up with his two young daughters. He and his wife have called Salem, NH home since 2022.

About Joe Rotondi

Foreman

 

Joe officially joined the company in 2018 after graduating from Brewster Academy. During his time at Brewster, he was a dedicated student-athlete, participating in hockey, soccer, and baseball—experiences that helped him develop teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills that he brings to his work today.

​

Since joining the team, Joe has worked closely with his older brother, Michael, gaining valuable hands-on experience and industry knowledge. In 2022, he earned his hoisting license, becoming a licensed operator. Joe is equally comfortable working in the trenches as he is leading his crew to ensure every project is completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

​

Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his Australian Shepherd, Astro. A true member of the crew, Astro is often on-site supervising the team and making sure everyone’s working safely.
